If you feel you are everything,
You gain nothing in life
For to feel you are nothing
Is to take the world in a stride
The smaller you feel you are
The greater the world sees you
And slowly, but surely
Actual glory will reach you
Even an aspiring seed
Having all that success needs
Silently moves deep under
Without an egoistic blunder
Rains on the mountains
Don’t stay forever there
But flow down to the plains
Via hill slopes everywhere
To open the umbrella
It needs a button pressing
To catapult a bullet faraway
It needs backwards stretching
Life has loveliness to sell
But needs someone who’d buy
And learn a special lesson
From ordinary things nearby
Everyone craves leadership
But world’s hunger is for servants
Who help and serve in union
To fill every human dent
Respect and honour come
To those who do, than speak
Like under the mighty glowing Sun
No eye can rise and sneak.
A mind which cannot bow
Is not open to real knowledge
For humility and simplicity decide
Who gains the cutting edge.
Without the lover in your heart
A beloved cannot be found
Without the disciple in your mind
A teacher makes no ground
One who conquers his ego
Is forever alive
Because a body dies a death
But a soul lives hundred lives.
